Yes, you can wake from your slumber my Uptown Records people. I don’t think there were many bigger Jodeci fans than myself, so I am pleased to spread some good news to the New Jack faithful.
No. The Degrate and Hailey brothers are not back with some new music. It’s Onra‘s turn. ‘Long Distance’ and ‘High Hopes’ are two tracks that help me imagine what Jodeci would have progressed to if they were still doing it till now.
There’s some French flavour added this stuff. There’s also a bit of Zapp in there. There’s a little Teddy Riley. There’s even a bit of Dilla.
