Yep. Just doesn’t power up. After 1.5 short years. Didn’t drop it. Treated it nice. Real upset. I won’t be answering any phone calls for a while.

Apparently it happens to everyone, so don’t get too attached.

GXR! I want! I need!

First it was a crush on the Ricoh GR and GR-Digital. Those are classic cameras and I will always have a soft spot for them. But now, there is a new infatuation. Read on and you will understand why. You will definitely be as amazed as I am…

The Ricoh GXR is a radical rethink of just how a camera should be built. By shoving the sensor inside the lens kit, Ricoh’s allowed for a camera body that stays up to date every time a new lens/sensor clip-on comes out. Wow!

As always, like all cameras in the GR line, it is aesthetically on point, with the signature hand grip and magnesium body. That’s important.

Always will love this one though (GR1s)…
